• Ruth Corset's triumphant return to cycling continued today with the Queenslander claiming the second event of the 2012 Subaru Women’s National Road Series (NRS), the Velo Battle on the Border on the Gold Coast.
  
  Corset (Pensar-Hawk Racing) wrapped up dominant Tour performance with a win in the final stage criterium held around Salt Park in Kingscliff.  Racing her first NRS event since 2009, the thirty-four-year-old claimed two stage victories and a second across the four-stage event.

• Queensland's Ruth Corset holds the overall lead after the first two stages in the Velo ‘Battle on the Border,’ the second event in the Subaru 2012 Women's National Road Series.
  
  Thirty-four-year-old Corset claimed a sensational solo victory in stage two's road race and finished second in the opening time trial stage.  Corset's Pensar-Hawk Racing team, who continue to impress in their debut Series, lead the team standings by almost one minute with two stages remaining.

• Mersey Valley, The 1st National Road event on the 2012 NRS calendar kicks off in Tasmania on April 20th, Pensar-Hawk Racing team management and riders are excited, counting down and preparing for the season’s first NRS event. This event will be a first in 2012 for the team, not for reasons of that being a National Road Series race for which the team competed in for the first time in 2011 with the Elite Men’s squad but more the fact the teams newly formed Women’s NRS squad make their awaited NRS debut for Pensar-Hawk Racing.
